Construction Site Supervisor

Job description

We are hiring a proactive Construction Site Supervisor to manage the daily field execution of oil & gas and power facility projects. This leadership role ensures safe, timely, and efficient construction in collaboration with contractors, engineers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee site personnel, subcontractors, equipment operators, and tradespeople.
• Enforce safety practices and ensure proper use of PPE and tools.
• Conduct daily briefings, hazard assessments, and toolbox meetings.
• Manage scheduling, material deliveries, quality control, and inspection coordination.
• Report on project progress, incident reports, and change orders.
• Resolve on-site technical and logistical challenges.
• Maintain construction logs, sign-in sheets, and permit compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in industrial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, workflows, and inspection protocols. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of OH&S regulations and site safety standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, project reporting tools, and mobile apps. Class 1 Driver's License required.
• Crane or picker truck operating experience is a major asset.
