Electrician (Junior to Senior)
Job description
We are currently looking for Junior and Senior Electricians to work on the construction and maintenance of electrical systems for power and oil & gas facilities. You'll play a key role in installing and maintaining critical systems with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and code compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission electrical panels, conduits, transformers, and grounding systems.
- Interpret construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Troubleshoot motor controls, relay systems, lighting, and distribution systems.
- Maintain and inspect electrical infrastructure in compliance with codes.
- Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades.
- Maintain site documentation including red-line drawings, change orders, and service records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Alberta Certificate or Registered Apprentice status.
- Strong familiarity with CSA C22.1 (Canadian Electrical Code).
- Minimum 2 years (Junior) / 5 years (Senior) of industrial or commercial experience. Able to work independently in outdoor, remote, or confined workspaces.
- Experience operating picker/crane trucks is a plus.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed
